Ornately crafted and plated in silver, this curious and intriguing antique toothpick holder was made by Paris silversmiths Ofèvrerie Christofle, founded by Charles Christofle in 1830. Toothpick holders became popular in the Victorian era, used to decorate formal table settings. This wonderfully distinctive piece boasts a mischievous dancing gargoyle-like figure - a fantastic collector's item to add some character to your table decoration.
