Joanna Sarapata 1962 -
She was born in 1962 in Warsaw, the daughter of a sociologist and a nurse. When she was 14, she was diagnosed with cancer. In 1983, she went to Paris where she began her studies at the drawing department in the studio of prof. Vladimir Velickovic. In 1987, she graduated from L'ecole National Superieure des Beaux - Arts in Paris , and 11 of her paintings were accepted into the school's archives. She also studied morphopsychology for two years.
In 1986 she won the main prize in a student competition for a poster for the Paris Opera. Since 1987, he has exhibited his works in European and American art galleries. In the 1990s, she worked as an exhibition decorator for Cartier. In 1995 and 1997 she had her own exhibitions in Gustavia on St. Barthelemy. Since 1998, he has presented his works at Polswissart in Poland. Sarapata's clients included many acclaimed artists, including Joes Carreras, Elton John, Madonna and Michael Jackson.
The record price for this artist at auction is 11,574 USD for sitted from ecole de Paris series sold at art in house auction in 2021. (as illustrated)
