Follower of Keith Vaughan – Figures with Railway Track | Pen, Ink and Wash

Description
An expressive pen, ink and wash composition depicting four figures alongside a curving railway track, with sweeping arches and loosely suggested architecture behind them.
Fine pen lines contrast with broad grey and brown washes, creating depth through layered shapes and areas of shadow. The railway track curves through the foreground towards the centre of the composition, connecting the figures with their surroundings. Simplified faces and angular forms give the scene a reflective, almost theatrical character.
Offered as follower of Keith Vaughan, with the artist unidentified.
