Collection - 19th Century Sketches

This fascinating collection of drawings appears to be sketches from an art gallery. Depicting a series of classical male nudes, cherubs and other figures. The set includes a study of Antonio Tempesta's Plate 21Etching from Ovid's Metamorphoses, showing Europa riding a bull, which is currently a part of the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
