Signed Bronze Bust of a Young Woman on a Marble Base – Possibly After Hippolyte François Moreau

Description
A decorative bronze bust depicting a young woman with tightly curled hair, a gently lowered gaze and a softly modelled expression. Her draped dress features a decorative neckline and a ribbon-tied botanical motif across the chest.
The surface displays a dark brown and green patina, highlighting the texture of the curls and folds of the clothing. The bust is mounted on a rectangular black marble base with contrasting white veining.
Bearing an “H. Moreau” inscription to the side, the sculpture is offered as possibly after Hippolyte François Moreau, with the attribution unconfirmed.
