Description
This 19th century brass log bin is a solidly made domestic object, crafted in brass and raised on three cast claw-and-ball feet. The rounded body is balanced by twin swing handles mounted on circular bosses, combining practicality with restrained ornament. A gently flared rim defines the upper edge, while the surface retains an even aged patina with visible wear and oxidation consistent with long use. Subtle hammer marks and casting details reflect traditional 19th century metalworking techniques.
