The organic form of this innovative work of art is a trademark of the Art Nouveau style of Loetz, created using techniques which were groundbreaking for their time. The texture has a cracked effect, with the rim delicately folding over like petals. The iconic designs of Loetz are found today in the collections of the V&A, Prague Art and Design and the Heinrich Glass Museum, Dusseldorf.
