Description
A rare and fully operational mid-20th-century Omega “Telefoot Breveté” military wristwatch, representing one of the most elusive patented variants produced in the 1940s. The dial shows a uniform, naturally developed patina with clean linear indices and blued steel hands, complemented by a recessed small-seconds register at six o’clock. Its distinctive “TELEFOOT MONTLIER Breveté 247271” marking identifies a scarce configuration manufactured in very limited numbers, with extremely few surviving examples documented today. The chrome-plated case retains good definition with light, even wear, while the original perforated leather strap contributes authentic period character. Fully working and keeping time accurately, the watch embodies utilitarian wartime design with the technical reliability associated with Omega’s early production. Examples of this Breveté variant rarely appear on the market, making it a significantly uncommon piece for those who value Swiss military horology of the mid-century era.
