Very Large Vintage Persian Floral Rug – 484 × 333 cm

Description
A very large vintage handwoven,Persian rug, mid-20th century, measuring 484 × 333 cm. Possibly from Moud or Khorasan.
The ivory field is decorated with an all-over floral lattice comprising rosettes, palmettes and scrolling foliage, linked by fine navy stems. The palette includes turquoise, teal, navy, muted red, rose pink, peach and soft green.
A broad red-ground principal border contains alternating floral motifs and scrolling leaves, enclosed by multiple floral and foliate guard bands. Finished with fringed ends.
