Description A refined suite of four original graphite drawings depicting a female nude in contemplative poses, conceived as Les Quatre Estacions ("The Four Seasons"). Executed with exceptional technical skill, the artist employs subtle tonal modelling and delicate graduated shading to achieve a remarkable sense of volume, light and atmosphere. Each composition presents the same figure in a different pose, with one work incorporating a recorder, creating a harmonious and thoughtfully conceived series. The restrained monochromatic palette and minimalist backgrounds focus attention on the elegance of the human form and the quiet emotional character of each composition.
The drawings are individually signed and dated while the reverse of each frame is inscribed in Catalan with the corresponding season—Hivern (Winter), Primavera (Spring), Estiu (Summer) and Tardor (Autumn)—confirming the works were conceived as a complete series.
